REDWOOD SHADOW (10) made progress last time out, finishing 2 lengths from the winner in second when he made late ground at the end of 7f at Sunshine Coast. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. BLAZEN BOOTS (9) was far from disgraced when third last start over 1m1/4f at Ipswich, beaten 1.5 lengths. That followed a win at Doomben the start prior. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. THESECONDATPORTSEA (15) is a strong fresh performer back after a break of ten weeks and looking to emulate her win at Doomben to kick off the last campaign. Ran fifth in a trial at Deagon over 5¼f recently. One of the genuine hopes in the race.
