MILLANE (4) Group 3 placegetter. Started at 9/4 last time but could only manage fourth, beaten 5.5 lengths, at this track over 6f. Will drift back but wind up late. One of the leading chances. Group 3 placegetter EMPEROR (8) returns from a break of five months. Genuine performer last prep whose most recent appearance resulted in a 11th over 7f at Grafton. Nicely placed to kick off another successful campaign. STANDING ORDER (9) went forward last start and gave a great sight when third over 6¾f at Ipswich. Has the gate speed to negate a tricky draw. One of the contenders. MANHOOD (2) is back at the races for the first time since May 18. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 5½f at Rosehill. One to consider.
