BUDJIK BOY (1) finished 0.9 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1m at Echuca after being prominent at the corner a week-and-a-half ago as 6/4 favourite. Tackles a longer journey this time. Should settle handy in the run. Will prove tough to beat. KALENDS (3) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 1m1 1/2f at Traralgon. Drawn for a good trail just off the pace. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. WARLIST (10) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 1m at Bairnsdale, finishing second and beaten 2.25 lengths. Must raise the bar but he has the talent to test this line-up. MON ETOILE (4) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 7f75yards at Kyneton, beaten 4.5 lengths. Fitter and sure to run well.
