CASDAEMON (1) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 4 lengths when sixth over 7½f at Muswellbrook a week-and-a-half ago after being prominent at the bend. Nicely placed to take this out. PLATINUM WARRIOR (3) raced on the pace over 6½f at Narromine last time and held on for a place. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Capable of testing this field. DERVINIA (8) came home strongly last start to finish third, beaten 1.4 lengths, over 6½f at Narromine. Among the main hopes.
