LORDSTER (4) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to finish third, beaten 1.5 lengths, over 6f at this track. Will be tough to hold out again. OCEAN ZAR (5) comes here off a last-start fourth, beaten 6 lengths, over 7f at Sunshine Coast. Has a good record at this journey with three wins from eight starts. A bold showing is expected. CONVINCEBILITY (2) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign when he worked home well and finished just half a length from the winner in third over 5½f at Sunshine Coast Poly. Goes up a rung or two but he is good enough to take this out. GREGARIOUS (9) was in contention on the turn and finished third last time over 5¾f at Gold Coast Poly when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 2.5 lengths. Nicely placed to play a role in the finish.
