AQUAHOLIC (3) showed good early speed then led into the straight when fresh from a lay-off last start before fighting on to finish second, beaten a head, over 5f at Sunshine Coast Poly. Rates highly and will be hard to peg back. KEEP SAFE (1) finished second, beaten 1.75 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Sunshine Coast after he was prominent at the bend. Going up a level this time but he is up to the challenge. ANSON BAY (2) raced once in the maiden campaign when seventh at this track over 6f back on June 26. Worth following up. VALENCIA ROC (12) ran a fair race on debut last time out, beaten 1.2 lengths into fourth over 6f at Eagle Farm on November 5. Not to be discounted.
