COUNTER (2) is still a maiden after 14 runs and despite that was well fancied last time but couldn't quite get over the line, finishing a close third over 1m1/4f at this track. Eexpected to be in the finish again. LUISANA (12) made significant late ground last start to get up for third over 1m3f at Ipswich. Has a good association with Brooke Ainsworth with a run of four top-three results. Sure to play a big role. MIDORI MOVER (15) has not far away of late including last start when third over 1m at Sunshine Coast. Should appreciate the longer journey this time. HIMEJI (8) was beaten 5 lengths into fourth in a 1m2f contest at Gold Coast Poly a week-and-a-half ago. No surprise to see him in contention.
