Race Tip

PLEASING SMILE (13) raced handy on debut last start and gave a good sight before tiring to finish fourth and beaten 2 lengths over 7f at Pakenham Synthetic. Big chance based on that effort. EMPEROR TZU (10) is building towards a maiden win after minor placings at his last two runs, the latest when third over 1m at Cranbourne, beaten 7 lengths. Will appreciate the drop in grade. Will be hard to stop. CATALONA (14) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she was always well out of her ground over 7f122yards at Geelong, beaten 3.5 lengths into seventh. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. GYRA (3) hit the frame when resuming two runs back at Kembla Grange but couldn't back it up last start when tenth, beaten 7 lengths, over 7f122yards at Geelong. Open to improvement and should be about the mark.
