MR TIME (17) finished fourth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 5¼f at Leeton, beaten 5.5 lengths. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is one of the key runners. MY BOY NICK (5) is back at the races for the first time since February 17. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 5½f at Benalla. One of the genuine hopes in the race. VELENTINO (6) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on November 11 finishing fourth and beaten 4 lengths over 6f at Esk. Now under the care of new trainer Carly Cook. Sure to make his presence felt. DIAMATTI (3) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 5f125yards at Kyneton. Looks to be in the right race so another bold effort is on the cards.
