Well placed and should be in the finish. DON'T GIVE UP (1) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when seventh, beaten 4. 5 lengths, over 6f196yards at Hobart after he was in contention on the corner. Has further improvement to come and is among the main hopes. SIMPLY DEEP (5) really dug deep to salute by 0. 8 lengths three runs back at this track before filling a minor placing at his last two starts. Should camp just off the leaders. Will be in this for a long way. NATIVE CLAN (6) had been rock-solid with three placings in a row before finishing fifth over 1m2 1/2f at Hobart last start. Will find this easier. Well placed and expected to measure up. Among the better hopes.
