MERLIN BEACH (2) made significant late ground last start to get up for third over 1m at Hobart. Codi Jordan has won when aboard in the past and gets the ride again. Well placed and should be in the finish. TURBO CHOOK (1) went back early from his wide draw over 6¾f at this track last time but hit the line strongly to finish fourth. Sure to be tough to hold out. FRUIT OF DE VINE (7) switches to synthetic for the first time. Finished in the money two runs back and followed that with an unplaced effort, beaten 1. 4 lengths, over 6f on turf at Hobart. Likely to progress from that last run. In the mix. NUNKERI (3) finished second at this track two runs back but was less effective last time over 6¾f at this track, finishing 6 lengths back in eighth. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
