HOLLYWOOD ACE (1) returns from a layoff of four-and-a-half months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 5f at Pakenham Synthetic. Capable of playing a major role. AMINATU (2) ran below expectations last time at Moonee Valley, finishing ninth and beaten 13 lengths starting at 9/1. Worth noting Logan Bates goes aboard. This is a nice drop in grade so she will be hard to beat. LOVING MANDY (3) scored by a nose when resuming last start at Tatura over this distance. Has a very good record over this journey with two wins from four starts. Will find this a little tougher but can measure up. SHAMROCK BAY (4) was unwanted in betting last start but performed beyond expectations when beaten one length into second over 5f at Caulfield Heath. Should be prominent from the outset. Should give backers a sight.
