STEEL IMPACT (12) is yet to break through after three career starts. Managed to find the placings at this track two starts back before finishing sixth over 6f at Caulfield Heath last start. Won't get too many better chances to open her account. LUCKY DUCK (9) was well supported last time out but disappointed in finishing seventh over 6½f at Avoca, beaten 4.5 lengths. Likely to be in the finish in this suitable assignment. HYPEMAN (2) is a maiden galloper who resumes after finishing in the money over 6f at Pakenham Synthetic six-and-a-half months ago. Sharpened for this with a recent trial win. Shapes as one to consider. DJAWARA (5) was prominent at the bend and finished third last time over 6f at Mornington when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 0.8 lengths. Facing a tougher assignment but she is capable of running a bold race.
