SUN GIFT (8) could only manage fifth on debut then improved last start but found one better over 1m3/4f at Geelong, beaten a nose. Stepping up a level this time but on her best form she is right in contention. DEROZARIO (4) turned in a nice run last time to finish third over 1m2f at Pakenham after being in contention on the turn. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. LORD PROTECTOR (2) is yet to break through in five runs. Finished fourth at his last appearance over 1m at Pakenham on March 28. Among the chances in what looks a nice race for him. HOLLY'S STAR (6) stepped out on her debut over 1m at Pakenham three weeks ago and finished ninth, beaten 5 lengths. Should be thereabouts.
