NO MOR STONES (6) finished second, beaten 0.8 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Ellis Park (Dirt) after he was in the firing line on the bend. Goes up a rung or two but he is capable of a big run. STEEL VENOM (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m1/2f at Ellis Park, beaten 12 lengths into tenth after being in contention on the bend. Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough to take this out. HELM PLACE (3) hit the frame with a 2 length third on turf at Ellis Park two starts back. Disappointed last time though, again on the turf, at Horseshoe Indianapolis over 1m when 11 lengths from the winner in seventh. Strong contender back on the dirt. Worth another chance. CINISTER CIX (4) was beaten 8 lengths into fifth over 6f at Ellis Park last time out. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
