SALTWATER COWBOY (8) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on 26/05/2025, finishing seventh and beaten 17 lengths over 1m at Lone Star Park (Dirt). Comes here with definite claims. CRITICAL THREAT (10) was thereabouts last time out when third at Ellis Park (Dirt) over 1m1f, beaten 1.5 lengths. Has a wide gate to overcome but will still be competitive. MASTER GAME (4) settled well back last start and never threatened when 12 lengths from the winner in sixth over 7f at Colonial Downs (Dirt). The engagement of Tyler Gaffalione is noteworthy. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. SIR SAFFER (11) was never really a threat when resuming last start over 1m1/2f at Horseshoe Indianapolis (Dirt), finishing 17 lengths from the winner in seventh. Should park just off the speed despite the draw. One of the better hopes.
