BLACK COUNTRY (4) finished second at Monto two runs back but was less effective last time over 6f at Gold Coast Poly, finishing 25 lengths back in 12th. Won't find this as tough so it is sure to be prominent. THE WHITE MOUSE (16) recorded her first win last start over 5f at Jandowae, getting home by a neck. Jade Metcalfe was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Capable of making it two on the trot. ASHIKO BAY (1) finished fifth over 6f at Gayndah at his most recent appearance on October 14. One to consider. MR EVANS (2) strode forward early from his wide draw when resuming last start over 5f at Jandowae then fought on gamely to finish second. Finds a tougher race but he has the talent to test this line-up.
