SHEZA ALIBI (12) built on a nice third when fresh from a lay-off two starts back in the LR Mercedes Benz (Gothic Stakes) at this track with success as favourite over 7f in the G3 The Vanity Stakes at Flemington two weeks ago, getting home by 1. 75 lengths. Luke Nolen scored on her last time and retains the mount. Goes up a rung or two but she is capable of running another bold race. BURMA STAR (2) drifted well back last start before storming home to score by a nose over 7f in the LR Amanda Elliott (VRC Springtime Stakes) at Flemington. Stiffer assignment here but a bold showing is expected. CENTU CAVADDI (9) was well fancied but below best latest, finishing fifth at this track but has a new rider this time. Should be right in this on best form. PICTOR (7) was unwanted in betting last start but performed beyond expectations when beaten 1. 4 lengths into fourth over 7f in the LR Amanda Elliott (VRC Springtime Stakes) at Flemington. Can play a role again.
