JIMMYSSTAR (1) came from well back on the bend to score last time out over 6½f in the Russell Balding Stakes at Randwick. Takes on the elite performers but should measure up. ANGEL CAPITAL (5) produced a solid effort last time when sixth over 6f in the G1 The Everest at Randwick after he was well back on straightening. The extra journey should play into his hands. One of the better hopes. EVAPORATE (2) found the line nicely to grab third last time out over 7½f in the Golden Eagle at Randwick. Goes up a notch this time but he should be very competitive. VINROCK (7) is back from a 35 day freshen-up following a fourth in the G1 Caulfield Guineas at this track last time. Has the benefit of a recent trial. Blinkers on should sharpen him right up.
