HEDGED (4) turned in a nice run when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Cranbourne then missed the placings last time when 2 lengths from the winner in sixth over 6f in the G3 Rising Fast (Chatham) Stakes at Flemington. Rates highly and can bounce back. BEAST MODE (6) is in great form, lifting strongly to score last start over 5f at Moonee Valley to make it two in succession. Has a high cruising speed. Will give a great sight. SGHIRRIPA (2) didn’t threaten when resuming last start over 5f in the G2 Caulfield Sprint at this track, finishing seventh, beaten 3. 5 lengths. Has a very strong second up record. Leading chance on best form. TIGER SHARK (3) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 6 lengths back in seventh over 6f in the G2 McEwen Stakes at Moonee Valley. Has ability and a bold showing is expected.
