EMPHASIZE (10) broke through for his maiden win over 1m1/2f at Sale last time, scoring comfortably. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Jumps from a nice gate and he is a leading contender. LODBROK (5) finished out of the money two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 2.75 lengths when seventh over 1m4 1/2f at Pakenham seven weeks ago. Worth noting Ben Allen goes aboard. Finds a more suitable contest and can find winning form. CAT NOIR (9) improved sharply on her fourth two starts back at Camperdown with success over 1m3/4f at Geelong a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by 1.3 lengths. Going up a level this time but she can go back-to-back. CABLE DANCER (4) followed an unplaced effort two starts back with a second last start over 1m1f at Flemington. Nicely placed to take this out.
