Stiffer assignment here but a bold showing is expected. BITTERCREEK (1) is a talented colt who was well held last time out in the tougher Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes won by Kimochi over 7f at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths into seventh. Will appreciate this easier race. SNITZANOVA (10) scored last start in the G3 NJC Spring Stakes at Newcastle to make it two wins from three starts this campaign. Has winning claims. FRENCH RULER (5) found the line nicely last start to get up for second over 1m at Newcastle. Takes on tougher opposition this time but cannot be underestimated.
