KADAVAR (11) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished second at Warwick Farm two starts back then got the job done by one length as public elect last time out over 1m4f at Rosehill. Beautifully placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping again. ALMA RISE (12) has scored at her last two starts, most recently by 2.25 lengths over 1m2f at Flemington as favourite. That continued the very strong form this campaign, with two wins from three outings. Top chance again. CONVENER (8) finished 6 lengths adrift in ninth last time in The Long Black at Flemington in a disappointing performance. Finds an easier assignment and can find winning form. DIVUS ROMULUS (15) hasn't been far away lately, beaten 2.25 lengths at his most recent outing when third over 1m2 1/4f at Moonee Valley. Deserves to break through and a forward showing is expected.
