MANAPOURI (3) was well fancied last start over 6f at Warracknabeal when second, beaten 2 lengths. Can bounce back. JOTOPELI (2) missed the placings on debut then improved last start but found a couple better over 6f at Mt Gambier, beaten 1.2 lengths. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. BISHOP'S CHOICE (1) missed the frame last time out when fourth over 7f at Warrnambool. Still a maiden but has been in the money on two occasions. Has a solid record at this journey, finishing in the money on two occasions. Will find this a little easier than last time. One to consider. TRUE TEST (17) finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 5½f at Mildura when he worked home well, beaten 3 lengths. Likely improver with bright prospects.
