A BLUE STAR (8) finished out of the money two starts back then he was never in contention and was beaten 16 lengths when tenth over 1m2 1/2f at Ballarat Synthetic three-and-a-half weeks ago. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. BRIGHT LEGEND (7) was an impressive winner last time over 1m2 1/4f at Mt Gambier, scoring by 4.5 lengths. Among the leading chances again despite the extra weight. PULVERISER (2) made some progress last start to finish fourth over 1m at Warracknabeal, beaten 3 lengths. Tackles a longer journey this time around and is capable of further improvement.
