ENCHANTED ELLE (4) finished second in a (2m1 1/2f) at this track. Couldn't match that effort last time out, beaten 25 lengths into sixth in a hurdle (2m) at Warrnambool. Sure to prove hard to beat. PEARLMAN (5) was unplaced two starts back (2m) at Warrnambool then improved last start when he wound up in fourth, beaten 10 lengths, (2m) at Hamilton. Cannot be left out in this more suitable contest. GAMBU (2) missed the frame two runs ago in a hurdle (2m) at Warrnambool then again missed the top three most recently but was only beaten 2.75 lengths into fourth in a hurdle (2m1f) at Hamilton. Capable of turning things around. GOLDEN GARDEN (3) is taking on the jumps for a second time after winning at his first attempt in a hurdle (2m1 1/2f) at this track four weeks ago in impressive style. Going well and makes plenty of appeal.
