BLACKLIST (3) performed above expectations last time over 1m1f at Eagle Farm, finishing 0. 7 lengths from the winner in fourth after starting at huge odds. Likely to run well again. HAWK POWER (1) didn’t threaten when resuming last start over 1m1 1/2f at Newcastle, finishing sixth, beaten 4 lengths. Generally goes well with that run under the belt. Expected to feature. JACK DUGGAN (2) is a distance specialist who was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was never in contention over 7½f at Randwick, beaten 6 lengths into ninth. This is a nice drop in grade so he is likely to play a big role. CHATEAUX PARK (8) settled well back then came home powerfully to score by one length over 1m1 1/2f at Newcastle last time out. Can figure in the finish.
