BARTOLF (10) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when seventh, beaten 10 lengths, over 6f at Warwick Farm. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. OAKFIELD DUKE (1) has had two runs since a break, the latest a fifth over 5½f at Rosehill, beaten 3 lengths. Has never been out of the placings at the third run in so he is among the leading chances. FRENCH MARINE (11) found the line nicely last start to get up for second over 6½f at Wyong. Among the better chances. ROUSSILLON (4) continued the good recent form when he finished just 3 lengths away in second last time out over 6¼f at this track. Has been thereabouts without winning and deserves respect on best figures.
