MEMORIA (4) returns after a lay-off of four months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 5f at Randwick. Has ability and should be right in the finish. LE MELODY (2) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when 11th, beaten 5.5 lengths, over 6f at Randwick after she got a long way back. Will strip fitter and looks a clear threat. CHIEF CONDUCTOR (5) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fourth at this track over 5½f. Likely improver who should be competitive.
