CODETTA (2) wound up strongly last time out to finish a neck adrift in second over 6f at Warwick Farm. This is her optimum trip with three wins from five starts and should be in the finish. ALLIRI (4) was a winner over 5½f at Randwick Kensington last time, racing on the pace before getting the upper hand and scoring by 1.75 lengths. Has never been out of the placings in four starts at this journey and looks a top chance. ART VOLANT (1) was given a short break after finishing fifth over 5½f at Randwick. Kept ticking over with a subsequent trial at Rosehill. Worth plenty of thought. SCINTILLA (7) was too good for a maiden field last start over 6¼f at this track, scoring by 2 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Braith Nock was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Must be respected now that the penny has dropped.
