INQUIRING MINDS (2) turned in a fine effort to win by a nose at this track and distance when resuming from a lay-off last start. Going up a level this time but he can get the job done. BAT OUT OF HELL (5) showed good early speed last start over this journey at this track before finishing third, beaten a head. Taking on a better line-up this time but he deserves his chance. IMATRUESTAR (6) finished second last start over 6¼f at this track when he worked home well, beaten 3.5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. JACK DUGGAN (8) turned in a nice run when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Kempsey then missed the placings last time when 6 lengths from the winner in sixth over 7¾f at this track. Fitter so don't underestimate.
