SOLDIER OF ROME (1) pushed forward from a wide draw last time out and was prominent for a long way before fading to finish eighth over 1m1f at Rosehill. Sure to be prominent from the outset. LIKE LUKEY (12) made it two wins in succession last time out when she scored by 2.25 lengths over 1m3/4f at Muswellbrook. Facing a tougher assignment but she is up to the task. KIRIKAN (8) raced on the pace last start and lifted strongly to hold third, beaten half a length, over this journey at this track. Nicely placed to take this out. HEAVEN BOUND (9) was safely held when sixth last start over 1m1 1/2f at this track, beaten 6 lengths after a good when resuming win at Kembla Grange. Worth another chance.
