THE STARS ALIGN (1) is a distance specialist who improved sharply on his fifth two starts back at this track with success over 1m at Nowra a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by 4. 5 lengths. Has the ability to figure prominently. MEAN AS (5) got off the mark with an impressive maiden win last time out over 7f at Mudgee. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Big chance to go back-to-back. GUNFIGHTER ROAD (6) was prominent at the bend and finished third last time over 1m1/4f at Moruya, beaten 3. 5 lengths. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. PASSENGER PRINCESS (11) made some progress last start to finish sixth over 7f at this track, beaten 4. 5 lengths. Stepping up in distance this time and is worth plenty of thought.
