SCALEXTRICS (5) made a nice return two starts back then settled well back and found a few when sixth over 6½f at Newcastle two-and-a-half weeks ago. Fitter and well-placed to turn things around. MAJOR ORE (1) drifted back then closed strongly to score on debut over 6f at Newcastle three-and-a-half weeks ago. Has plenty of upside and can win again. YOUNG REBEL (3) hit the frame when resuming two runs back at Bathurst but couldn't back it up last start when seventh, beaten 5 lengths, over 6f at this track. Finds a nice race and can bounce back. NETTLES (8) strode forward early from her wide draw to settle just off the lead last start then lifted to score by a head at Scone over 6f. In form and another bold showing is on the cards.
