BELLA ACE (2) missed the placings two starts back when resuming then ran a better race and finished 2 lengths away in sixth last time out over 4¾f at Cowra after being prominent at the bend. Tackling a more suitable race this time so she is set to turn things around. FORBIDDEN GEMSTONE (11) resumes. Wasn't far away at last run before a break, finishing fourth over 5f at Gundagai 11 weeks ago. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. NORRIS (9) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 19 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when sixth over 5f at Goulburn, beaten 8 lengths. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. FORCE AWAKENS (12) was beaten 6 lengths into seventh in a 7f contest at Crookwell at his latest appearance. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
