AL RAS BLUES (2) was safely held when fourth last time out over 7½f at this track, beaten 3 lengths. That followed a win at Townsville at the previous outing. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. EAGLE WARRIOR (1) showed good early muster and fought on to finish third last start over 1m2f at Mackay. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. NIPPA'S NIGHTCAP (3) scored in a at Innisfail but was below his best last time when seventh over 1m3/4f at Cooktown. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. IT'S BEEN A TREK (4) showed little early speed then came with a powerful run to finish third last time out over 7½f at this track. Tough to stop again.
