MEMPHIS SHADOW (1) is a genuine five-year-old gelding who resumed with a solid third last time out at Townsville over 5f. Should be in the finish. BARMERA (3) has a change of rider after he was well held last time when fifth over 1m at Townsville. Rates well and expected to do much better. SPILL THE TEARS (5) was in contention on the bend and finished third last time over 5f at Mt Garnet when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 1.75 lengths. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals.
