Race Tip

FODOR (1) showed good early dash last time out and led for most of the way before being claimed and finishing 0.6 lengths away in second over 6½f at Townsville. Will take catching. INCHING CLOSER (2) built on a nice second two starts back at this track with a win over 6½f at Townsville three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 0.6 lengths. Nicely placed to take this out. BOOGIE WONDERLAND (7) finished second when resuming two runs back at this track then progressed nicely last time out to score by a nose as public elect over 5f at Atherton. This looks a sterner test than last time but on current form he is good enough to take this out. CALDANTE (11) showed good early speed then led into the straight last start before fighting on to finish third, beaten one length, over 7f at Townsville. Strong top-three prospect.
