BARMERA (2) looks close to a win, finishing in the placings at his last couple of runs including a second most recently over 7f at Townsville when beaten 1.3 lengths. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Will play a major role. HERNE HILL (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Atherton, beaten 4.5 lengths into fourth.
