MUTAFIQ (4) pushed forward and went on to record a determined win last start by a nose over 6f at Townsville. Drawn to stalk the leaders. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. ILZOOMYA (6) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was beaten 5.5 lengths into sixth over 4½f at Innisfail. Meeting a tougher field but with added fitness he is capable of a big performance. PRINCE AKEEM (9) produced a good run two starts back to finish second but failed to live up to market expectations last time when out of the placings at Townsville over 1m. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. HERNE HILL (7) was an impressive winner last time over 6f at Innisfail. Drifted back on that occasion then lengthened impressively to score by 2.5 lengths. In form and will be running on hard again.
