Race Tip

BALASTIER (3) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by 1.75 lengths over 5½f at Seymour. Has a strong record at the trip and looks sure to run well again. Can make it back-to-back wins. BOSSY STAR (4) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by half a length over 6f at Geelong. That continued the solid form this campaign, with two wins and three minor placings from five outings. Sure to go well again. MASKED MARAUDER (5) resumed over 5½f at Warrnambool last start and was too good for his rivals, scoring by a head. Open to plenty of improvement and is among the winning hopes again. AREYOUREADYFORIT (15) turned in a better run last start, beaten 1.3 lengths into fourth over 5½f at this track. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
