Decent effort last time out when in the firing line on the corner before finishing third over 1m2 1/2f at Sandown-Lakeside, beaten a neck. Has the class to find the winners' list. THURMOND (3) scored last start at Swan Hill to make it two wins from three starts this campaign. Takes on a tougher assignment this time but can measure up. GOLDEN HIPS (4) struggling to break through and over a year since a win, last start finishing second over 1m2f at Seymour. Looks suited and can break through for a long overdue win.
