FAYETTA (2) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when tenth, beaten 15 lengths, over 6f at Ballarat. Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. CONTROVERSIAL MISS (1) showed good early muster and fought on to finish second last start over 7f at Wangaratta. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. BABY HAZEL (7) ran well below her best last time over 5½f at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths into eighth at 11/4. Better than the last suggests. Worth following. MANHATTAN VIEW (5) returned from a lay-off four weeks ago when she was in the firing line on the turn before being beaten 4 lengths into fourth over 7f at Sandown-Lakeside. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
