LOUIS BARTHAS (1) returns from a lay-off of six months and is having his first run for a new yard. Finished ninth in the LR Carnarvon Stakes at Newbury over 6f when when resuming last time in work. Ran fourth in a trial at Flemington over 4f recently. Winning chance. GRINZINGER SUN (11) is back after a break of six months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing second at her latest appearance over 6f152yards at Geelong. Commenced last prep with a minor placing at Sale over 5½f. Should be forward enough following three recent trials. Nicely placed and expected to go well. INSAIN HARRY (4) is a two-start maiden who placed on debut then could only manage eighth last start, beaten 7 lengths over 6f at Ballarat. Debut run was good and he looks a great chance to open the account. ELIZABASS (10) is a two-start maiden who returned last time and finished fourth at Sale over 5f, beaten 1.4 lengths. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come.
