SOREL RISING (1) is a genuine five-year-old gelding who resumed with a solid second last time out at this track over 5f. A win will not surprise. CLAYMORE MINE (10) was having her first run for the Craig Weeding yard last start when she made steady ground to run into second over 5f190yards at Albury at the first run back from a lay-off. Can go one better. FIRE WHEEL (5) missed the frame in town lastest but not disgraced when sixth at Morphettville Parks and does tend to run well here. Won't find this assignment as tough. One to consider. TI TREE LAD (7) is due to win after just missing last time over 6f at Terang, finishing just a neck from the winner in second. Has a low draw so a forward showing is expected.
