CHOUX SHOE (5) started at 15/2 last time and ran below expectations, finishing seventh and beaten 5 lengths at Northam over 6½f. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. SANDFIRE ROSE (13) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she was never in contention over 1m at Pinjarra, beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. AMAMUS (1) accounted for a maiden field over 7½f at Bunbury All Weather last start, finishing 1.1 lengths ahead of the nearest rival. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Brayden Gaerth was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Tougher assignment this time but is one of the main contenders. THE LUCKY CHIP (9) finished second last time over 7f at Northam, beaten 0.6 lengths. Nicely placed to go one better.
