DOCTOR JAY (2) is a handy type who resumes after a break of a year. At his last appearance he finished seventh over 7f at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths. Fitter for two subsequent trials, including a win. Has a perfect when resuming record from two starts. Steven Parnham who has scored on him two times retains the mount. Among the leading chances. KIRALUI (5) drifted back when resuming last time out before boxing on well to finish fourth over 6f at Pinjarra. Will strip much fitter so she is certainly one to consider. CAVALLO RED (4) finished off last campaign with a 11th over 7f at Ascot on March 19 and has since switched trainers. Finished fourth in a trial over 5f at Belmont Park. Goes well when resuming from a lay-off, including three minor placings from four starts. Capable of taking this out. THIS'LL SHOW YA (3) raced on the speed from the outset last start and finished third, beaten 1.75 lengths, over 5f at Bunbury. This doesn't look as hard so she is one of the main contenders.
