COME ON EMMA (3) wasn't far away last time out, finishing third over 6f at Pinjarra. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. Poses a serious threat. THE CRIMSON PIRATE (10) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 5½f at Northam when second, beaten 2.2.5 lengths. Breaks from a wide draw but another top-three finish is on the cards. NICKELPLAY (7) ran below expectations last start, finishing sixth and beaten 2.5 lengths at Northam over 1m. Suitably placed so expecting a better run this time.
