Likely improver with strong prospects. PATRON OF KINGS (3) hit the frame two starts ago at Pinjarra but ran below par last time when seventh and beaten 2.25 lengths over 7f at Ascot. Is unbeaten in three starts here. Ideally placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. STORM LORD (9) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing seventh at York over 6f. Has a good record at this course and distance, including a win and two minor placings. Meets some better types this time but he has the ability to test this field.
