LONE FORCE (4) is progressing well this campaign. Opened with a eighth at Sunshine Coast two starts back then landed the prize by 2 lengths last time out after being prominent at the bend over 7f at Gatton. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is worth serious consideration. TORONESS (5) was beaten for early speed and didn't come into contention when a disappointing ninth over 6f at Ipswich most recently. Nicely placed to make amends. SMART ACTION (1) got the prize two runs ago at Doomben. Couldn't follow that up last time out when seventh over 1m1/4f at Doomben, beaten 4 lengths. Enjoys a drop in grade so he is a major player. SAVAII (2) improved sharply last time out to score by a neck over 7f at Gold Coast two weeks ago. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role.
